I don't know if that is even possible, as SSDs only show its true speed with a SATA II controller and up.

Well, maybe if they used a SSD PCI board, that could work. Or a PCI SATA II or III controller... :-k

@ all Win8, Win7 and Vista users with an nForce 2/3/4/5/6/7 series chipset mainboard:

Personal statement (dated 18th March 2014):
Yesterday the domain win-lite.de, where I had hosted all my nForce driverpacks, has been closed. As a consequence all the download links of this thread are broken forever.
Since the asking for my "Optimized nForce Driverpacks" decreased very much within the last 4 years after NVIDIA stopped its chipset production, I decided to stop the support of this thread.
Users, who are still interested in my special nForce driverpacks for Vista/Win7/Win8, can find them until further notice within the start post of >this< thread.

Kind regards
Fernando

Sad to hear Fernando, but may I say you've done a great job, and I'm sure I speak on behalf of many other members, that your knowledge has been most useful and much appreciated. :sweet:

@ all:

Although I haven't been here for a long time, I am still alive and doing some driver modifications to enhance their usability (look >here<).
If there should be a demand for new "Optimized nForce Driverpacks", which can be used with the latest Windows Operating Systems Win8.1 and Win10, please let me know it.
Here are some informations, which may be interesting for you:
  1. Since several months I am able to digitally sign drivers, which have been modified by me. This makes it much easier to circumvent the "Driver Signature Enforcement" restrictions of the latest Windows OSs.
  2. There are "new" NVIDIA nForce SATA IDE and SATA AHCI drivers v11.2.20.9 dated 05/18/2012 available, which may support all nForce Chipsets from nForce4 up.
Since I cannot test any nForce driverpack myself (due to a missing nForce system), I need someone, who is willing to do some tests, before I will release any freshly created "Optimized nForce Driverpack for Win7-10" to the public.
Interested nForce users can send me a PM or post into >this< thread.

Kind regards
