Greetings!

...
Hey, it's jpr's forum - he can post where he wants

It does amuse me that this thread talks about kbps, whereas everyone talks about Mbps now.

Hey now, I'm just the caretaker :) Totally forgot about this thread, and the other post was more about bragging than anything else to be honest

Yeah, and I suppose the "DSL" bit in the title is also outdated :-k

Anyway, currently paying ~49 EUR for 1Gbps/200Mbps fiber, and 200 minutes + 200 texts + 3GB data plan on mobile. No TV or phone line, as I have no use for them. That's with Vodafone.

(we have reasonably cheap fiber, but we still get robbed on mobile data plans  )
No sig due to budget cuts.

*sob* I'm paying $150 CAD (about 100 EUR) for 60 Mbps + TV. I only have TV for the football. 1 Gbps internet would cost the same - i.e. without TV.

My mobile plan was a promotion - $60 CAD (40 EUR) for 10GB/month, unlimited Canada calling + global text.

Greetings!

Negotiated last year; 55€, 100/30Mbps, 200 TV channels (still enjoy zapping...), 1 TV box, landline, 2 mobiles with 2000 minutes/SMS and 1GB each.
Next year (2 year contract) the plan is to reduce the mobile minutes for more mobile data and/or shave 5€ more.

£30 pm here for 200Mbps/30Mbps VM Fiber at the moment, I often get calls from the ISP every year or so regarding 'renewing' my contract, but I use the opportunity to knock them down on the price a bit instead.

Still with 75Mbps down and 20 Mbps up. To be honest though, it's fine. No issues. :)

Discounts expired and my bill went up to $208/month. Called in and told them I was leaving for the competition. New deal is $130/month - and speed has increased to 150 Mbps.

[edit] had to call in *again* - turns out the new deal didn't include two channels, one of which is showing today's arsenal game. New deal is $139/month and includes the "bonus" of extra channels I don't watch
