Am I reading this right? i.e. PS5 tops out at 1200p?

Yep, they've obviously gone with a locked 1200p 60fps rather than a dynamic res here.
The XSX dynamic 4K is only 30fps, and the 60fps mode is 'up to' 1440p, so might even run lower than 1200p occasionally... wait for the DF video.

Bear in mind it's just a BC patch though so could change again depending on feedback etc.

Also, still doesn't compare well to PC...

Good comparison this one:



TL;DR - The PS5 is faster than a 2070S in this game, though if the 2070S was optimised similarly with DLSS it would be clear ahead again.

TL;DR - XSX output is too dark, skips frames and it's RGB 10bit only. PS5 has higher chroma bandwidth with 12bit YCBCR444.
