Some PS5 consoles are louder than others because they use different fans
Not fantastic news

Fans from different manufacturers are understandable, but retail consoles using a different fan design is odd. It might indicate they were concerned about heat and wanted to be more conservative on cooling.

TL:DR - PS5 does indeed have additional hardware features above RDNA2 (and one less), the Geometry Engine is completely custom, the Tempest Engine can also manage additional (non-audio) tasks like running game physics etc. It's a real box of tricks it seems... :-k

PS5: Latest figures indicate biggest sales of any PlayStation so far:
For something that famously hasn't been in stock anywhere practically since its launch, the PlayStation 5 has sold very well so far. A new report in DigiTimes states that 3.4 million units of the up-to-date console have been shipped in the first 4 weeks since its initial launch.

That's not all: the media outlet also now has estimates that indicate Sony will move 16.8 to 18 million units by the end of 2021.

Greetings!

Nice touch.
The comments on the inches sizes are nice too.

The 1% lows are surprisingly poor compared to PC.
