Bethesda are giving a couple bucks in microtransaction currency to Fallout 76 players who bought the £175 ‘Power Armor Edition’ expecting its feelies to include a “canvas West Tek duffel bag”, only to find it had been replaced with a trashy nylon bag

It just reeks of a rushed release tbh, it's going to need a lot of polish to get it to a decent standard.

Rumour has it that it was outsourced to another company. They were given all the F4 assets and basically told "Deliver a multipayer ASAP!" Not helped also that Bethesda's main 'script writer' has a philosophy of 'less is more' when it comes to central plot. He has stated he isn't into deep and continually developing plots.

It's a poorly thought out cash grab. Simple as that.

Bethesda has banned a group of Fallout 76 players for life after a shocking in-game homophobic attack.
Not providing any way to report other players for griefing in a massively online game seems naive... or lazy.

I thought the fallout from the Andromeda animation problems was bad, but this is getting ridiculous:

However, it's now come to light that Bethesda has made canvas bags after all - just not for the Power Armour collector's edition. YouTuber HeelsvsBabyface (thanks, GameRant) noticed that goody bag "unboxing" videos by content creators and influencers on YouTube include a Fallout 76 canvas duffle bag, swag that was given away at a Fallout 76 event in October.

I guess someone decided that the non-stop bad PR flood needed to be stemmed:

But the hits keep on coming:

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/1 ... addresses/
In a security breach last night (now resolved), Bethesda’s support site revealed the personal information of customers who’d submitted support tickets. The details – which included people’s names, addresses and phone numbers – mostly belonged to Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition buyers, who were after a replacement canvas bag for the nylon one that was actually included.

So generous

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018 ... tion-on-pc
Bethesda has announced it's giving away Fallout Classic Collection on PC to all players who have logged into Fallout 76 in 2018.
That is currently selling for Canadian $6.59 in the steam sale
