Very few things went right in the development of BioWare’s latest game, an online cooperative shooter that was first teased in mid-2012 but spent years floundering in pre-production. Many features weren’t finalized or implemented until the very final months, and to some who worked on the project, it wasn’t even clear what kind of game Anthem even was until that E3 demo in June of 2017, less than two years before it actually came out.
TL;DR - they learned *nothing* from what happened with Andromeda's development.

Anthem has received a lot of criticism since its launch, and I agree with many of the issues that others have pointed out. What the game does right overshadows what it does wrong, however, and my enjoyment and love for the game’s polished and unique core continues. If BioWare’s goal was to deliver high fidelity air combat using mech suits, they have definitely delivered on that goal
I must admit, the core flight and combat mechanics did feel good, even in the demo.

High fidelity air combat using mech suits -> Wouldnt that imply comparing to real life air combat using mech suits? 8-[

They have some advanced technology in Edmonton

I think they mean that it feels responsive to your inputs.

I liked this game. Despite its' wonkiness and peoples general lack of faith in Bioware it was a solid game.

I obviously wouldn't call it amazing, but the audiovisual presentation is well done and the gameplay is good (with some stupid gotchas going through the plot.)

All in all I just hope Bioware still plans to keep working on it. :p The Cataclysm event was weird, but interesting.
