I'm just saying having the money and actually wanting to build out an ecosystem are different things. Look how Google Stadia is going...sure, it works for what it does, but noone is really impressed right now.
They are different... Google has a history of making half hearted attempts and killing them a few years later. Amazon has a history of building good products in secrecy and keep improving them. Like what seems to be the case with other Bezos company, Blue Origin, that might launch a rocket that will defeat SpaceX in some metric out of the blue. I don't even like the guy, but you have to consider that he is ruthlessly efficient.

Speaking entirely of the gaming market, I have more faith in what I can see. Google has put more effort in, and look what they have to show for it (not that it's bad, it's just not making much of an impact.)

Unless NVidia really wanted to compete against MS, Sony, and AMD while also cooperating with them I'm not really seeing the positive aspect of them trying to get in the software market.

And he is a bald trillionaire. Yeah, he's the incarnation of a Bond villain.

BTW, I've learned recently that Casino Royale was inspired by a casino in Portugal! The real Bond, which seems to have known Ian Fleming during the war, seemed to have a very interesting life.

Greetings!

Portugal remained neutral (sort of...) during WW2, Lisbon became a hotpoint for espionage. Fleming was here and breathed the atmosphere.

Reports: “4K” Nintendo Switch revision slated for 2021 launch
Hardware plans are still in flux, but one report points to games already in the works.

I assume they'd want 4K support in TV mode, as it's a bit overkill on a 6.2" screen. :P

Considering Switch can barely do 900p like the og Xbox One I don't expect to see a 4K Switch...whats the point? Its not like they have video streaming apps or anything.

I wouldn't be surprised to see revised hardware but I would be surprised if Nintendo went there.

Eh, it's 2020, 4K is a nice check to have in any spec sheet, if only for that.
No sig due to budget cuts.

It would be more surprising launching a console now that doesn't support 4K.

Remember it doesn't have to render a native 4K, an upscaled DLSS image would be absolutely fine.
