Titan Quest Anniversary Edition on sale, totally worth the 5 EUR, really good ARPG (Grim Dawn, its spiritual successor, is quite nice as well).
No sig due to budget cuts.

I never thought I'd type this, but SWAT 4 is now available on GOG

https://www.gog.com/game/swat_4_gold_edition

I still have the original disks for this, but am happy to see it's now available digitally. IMO, it was one of the best tactical shooters ever. Super tense to play, and still has an active mod scene.

[edit] someone is running a third-party MP master server too: https://swat4stats.com/

As the GOG version of No Man's Sky isn't going to have multiplayer for awhile, GOG are offering refunds out of their own pocket:

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/0 ... er-on-gog/
GOG are now offering refunds to anyone who owns NMS there, even if they’re beyond the 30-day guarantee. GOG take great, finger-pointing pains to say that “Hello Games chose not to offer refunds over missing game content to our users” and this is “entirely at GOG’s own cost”.

10 years of GOG
This community has been our guiding hand for years and we'd like your input one more time: which game should become the 10th Anniversary Giveaway? Vote for your favorite and return on October 4 to claim the winning game for free!
Shadow Warrior 2 would be a pretty sweet giveaway (the first one was very good)

Superhot would have been a good choice too, but I already played that. Gonna blame you if SW2 is crap tho' ;)

*sigh* GOG are stirring the outrage machine for publicity again:

https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2018/1 ... n-apology/
Co-opting the tag to promote themselves didn’t go down well. The company has since issued a worryingly unapologetic retraction, but this time seems to be the breaking point for some users and even studios selling on GOG.
They also referenced a certain date infamous amongst the "it's about games journalism" crowd earlier in the summer. [-X

Looks like GOG had enough of their gamergate sympathizing community manager:

https://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2018 ... -gamergate
all things considered, you'd be forgiven for at least suspecting GamerGate sympathies, if not outright support. It's why I decide to stop dancing around the issue and come straight out and ask him: do you support GamerGate?

There's a pause while he thinks.
[edit] welp, turns out the douche has a history of harassment and has joined a similarly minded site
