So Intel's highest performer is being beaten by a $199 AMD processor? Beautiful =D>

But what I really love about the Ryzen 5 3600 is the 65W TDP :love:

Someone on reddit put this chart together with estimates of which current AM4 boards can cope with which Ryzen 3000 CPU's based on the quality of their VRM's:

My Asrock B450M Pro should be good up to a stock 3900X, while PA's MSI B450M Mortar should be good up to a B3950X :sweet:

My Asus ROG Strix X470-I is fine too for the stock 16 core as that has a decent 6 phase VRM, even though it's mITX.

Every time I see something like this I think "Sir, can you please not overclock my processor? It's not worth it for the performance, the power or the noise."

You can disable PBO easily though. :P
