It seems some EVGA RTX 3090's may have a problem:

The closed alpha and beta of New World have been bricking GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards, seeing the cards overheating and power spikes. It seems that New World is bricking EVGA branded GeForce RTX 3090 graphics cards the most, but there have been multiple RTX 3090s bricked from New World in just the last few days.

I wonder if it's related to this old issue... :-k

Edit: Maybe not, more likely a blown fuse due to faulty OCP:

TL;DR - Couldn't get the EVGA FTW3 card to blow, but the game does have an unusually high load.

I think the fact that EVGA had anticipated this issue and had no quibble warranty replacements ready to ship makes me think it's an issue with some of their early batches.
And yep, inside a case with a different quality PSU, that'll likely tip those cards over the edge.

If Nvidia doesn't complete Arm acquisition, the latter might consider an IPO
To complete the acquisition, Nvidia has to send all the necessary paperwork to the European Commission, which hasn't happened yet
