The settings app has been significantly improved, but several Control Panel features are still missing.

Thankfully, Windows 11 still comes with the Control Panel and File Explorer-based advanced configuration page called "God Mode" that allows you to easily access all advanced tools, features, and tasks.

Greetings!
Windows 11 hardware requirements made a mockery of by an Intel Pentium 4 processor

Intel Pentium 4 processors run Windows 11 because of an oversight on Microsoft's behalf. Even single-core ones are eligible for Windows 11, provided that they support Hyper-Threading.

Not sure if related, but some recent(-ish) update was causing a BSOD on boot on my machine - had to revert it (and disabled updates for the next 2 weeks for good measure). Will try again with these new drivers
No sig due to budget cuts.

The 5950X seems to boost fine also, I can't spot anything unusual after these new patches.

TL;DR - Do a fresh install, and Win11 seems to have slightly better random read/write drive speeds.

Edit: Just tested again myself, not much difference with CDM, but Samsung Magician shows a noticeable uplift in random IOPS.

Here's a fun one (I'm sure Impar will love it too  ), it turns out my problem was caused by the "Autenticação.gov" app (oficial Portuguese State app for digital signature and authentication) - uninstalled it, magic, no more BSODs #-o

^^ Good site to keep track of tech related stuff but too light on context.
