the search giant is introducing auto-delete controls for location history and web/app activity logs.
I used to do this manually, but it's good to hear that it can be set on a timed basis now.

After many sleepless nights over IE6 related hotfixes, the YouTube team had enough and developed a simple plan. They'd just add a small banner that only showed up for IE6 users, stating that the browser wouldn't be supported in the future and that users should switch to a more modern browser – see the screenshot below. The team wanted to see how people would react. Would they revolt against the change? Would they just update their browsers or ask their employer or (grand-)children to do that?

I hope the 3a sells well as it's more widely available than the flagship Pixel. If only because I may be in the market for a new phone in the next 12 months, and I refuse to give up the headphone jack.
